Request Services: Seeds of Hope/Semillas de Esperanza
CPC’s Seeds of Hope/Semillas de Esperanza is a multi-racial and bi-lingual (English/Spanish) group of popular educators dedicated to intergenerational movement building in Western North Carolina. Each educator has completed CPC’s Popular Education training that focuses on youth work.

Our educators are contracted by local and regional justice-oriented groups to design and facilitate movement spaces for children and youth (0–15 years old) that parallel your adult programming.The cost of Seeds of Hope/Semillas de Esperanza services is $25/educator/hour. The number of educators is determine by the age range and size of the group.

Seeds of Hope/Semillas de Esperanza requires a space for the youth, food and beverages for the children to be provided, and agreement to our cancellation policy and our payment policy. Please let us know below if you are able to do that. We are happy to be in conversation to work towards making collaborations and partnership work for both organizations.

We agree to the following cancellation policy: If you need to cancel childcare services within 72 hours of the scheduled event, there will be a 30% cancellation fee for each popular educator affected. If the event is cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled event, there will be a 50% cancellation fee for each popular educator affected. If the cancellation occurs within 24 hours of the event, there will be a 100% cancellation fee for each childcare provider affected. If the event is cancelled due to weather, cancellation fees will be waived. *
We agree to the following payment policy: Seeds of Hope charges a booking fee of $5/hour/popular educator and provider fee of $20/hour/popular educator. Prior to event, the coordinator will send an electronic invoice for the booking fee; these checks can be made out to “Center for Participatory Change” with “Popular Education” written on the memo line. On day of the event, each popular educator will provide an individual invoice with their personal mailing address. Popular educators will expect checks to arrive in the mail within 30 days of the event. *
