Taiwanese American Foundation (TAF) 2026 Staff Application
Application for Staff Position (must be at least 18 years of age):
  • Counselor (Sprouts, Juniors, Junior High)
  • Advisor (Youth)
  • Labs member
This form helps place staff for TAF 2026 Summer Conference. Please submit your application by April 4, 2026. Your timely response gives the Program Directors time to better serve the unique needs of this year's staff. There are limited TAF Staff positions available. We encourage you to consider your answers carefully. Please refrain from using AI to answer any questions as we value your individual input.

Our application consists of six parts:
  1. Introduction -- this page! (all staff)
  2. General information (all staff)
  3. New staff information (new staff only)
  4. Program scenarios (new staff and 1-3 years of staff)
  5. Conference questions (all staff)
  6. Staff expectations (all staff)
As a Counselor or Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our campers have a fun, rewarding, and engaging experience at TAF. Together with your co-Counselor/Advisor, you will lead a small group, facilitating discussions and fostering deeper relationships among your campers. Along with the rest of TAF Staff, you’ll be part of a passionate and energetic team dedicated to serving the next generation of leaders. Please note that you are ultimately here to serve your campers and nurture their growth. For applicants who have attended TAF as a camper, the staff experience is a shift from the camper experience, and your Program Directors will be looking for the best individuals that can meet our staff expectations.

As a member of Labs, you will engage in separate Labs programming and support the Summer Conference through media work or a personal project of your choice. Labs projects focus on topics that support TAF or the Taiwanese American community.

All staff will need to be available July 25 to August 2, 2026. If you are unsure about your schedule at this time, we still encourage you to submit your application.

Thank you for applying – TAF could not happen without your hard work and support!

We will share an update on your application in late April. If you have any questions, please email Conference Director Alison Yeh at cd@tafworld.org or reach out to the Program Directors at the corresponding program emails below:
