HMCC of Jakarta: Parenting Class
Learn about biblical principles for godly parenting through this six-part Parenting Class.

This class is open to everyone (members, non-members, parents, married, singles, etc.).

Day: Sundays
Time: 5-6PM after Sunday Celebration
Location: Lotte Shopping Avenue, 5th Floor, Main Hall (IN-PERSON)

This Parenting class will be split across two years, where we'll cover the first half this year and then we'll cover the second half next year.

  • May 5 - Part 1: God's Purpose for the Family
  • May 19 - Part 2: Ministry of the Family 
  • June 2 - Part 3: Family Worship 
  • June 9 - Part 4: Heart of Behavior 
  • June 23 - Part 5: Obedience 101 
  • June 30 - Part 6: Corrective Discipline 
Next year, we'll dive more into issues of communicating to children, raising boys, raising girls, raising teens, and dealing with technology and social media.

Childcare will be provided by our church in the main BB room for all the sessions. We will have 2 volunteers (1 BB teacher and 1 other member of our church) who will be available to take care of, play with, and watch your kids if you don't have any nannies/other caretakers with you that day. 

If you will be bringing your child(ren), please indicate their name(s) and age(s). 
*The cry room will also be available for parents to be with crying babies and for moms to feed/pump . The audio monitor will be on, so you can still listen in to the session.
