Graduation and Commencement Application - Fall 2024
Rochester University holds commencement ceremonies at the end of every Spring Semester. Please see the Graduation and Commencement Application Deadlines chart below. The Registrar must receive transcripts from other institutions by the end of the fall semester. If transcripts have not been received by the appropriate date, the student degree will not be posted.

Your diploma will be mailed to the home address you have listed in your student portal. Please login to your student portal and go to Edit Profile. You can then edit your home address as needed. Any changes that need to be made to your home address after your last semester has ended need to be sent directly to registrar@rochesteru.edu

Will you be participating in the commencement ceremony? Note: The graduation fee is charged whether students participate in commencement activities or not.
Song Suggestion for Cap Toss
We will conclude our ceremony with a cap toss! Please let us know what song you would like to be played during this moment of celebration. Once we receive all of the suggestions, we will send out an email for voting!

Regalia
You will be responsible for ordering and paying for your regalia (cap and gown). All graduates participating in commencement must have regalia in order to participate. Additional information will be sent to commencement participates at a later date.
