The Truckee Tahoe Airport Board of Directors is considering the purchase of a new air traffic surveillance system for the airport. Your participation in this survey will help the Board value the importance of this acquisition to the community. The FAA’s new “NextGen” initiative will modernize air traffic control. At the heart of NextGen is a GPS technology called ADS-B, which will improve flight safety, streamline flight operations, and reduce aviation’s impact on the environment.
