Ideally you should arrive in Motovun on Wednesday July 5th and leave on Saturday July 8th
Even more ideally you should plan to stay some extra days in the area and explore Istria and Croatia :) We're here to help with tips & tricks & planning!
If arriving by plane, consider the following airports(airport code and distance to Motovun in brackets)Zagreb (ZAG, 2.5 hours)Pula (PUY, 1 hour)Rijeka (RJK, 1.5 hours)Trieste, Italy (TRS, 1.5 hours)Ljubljana, Slovenia (LJU, 2 hours)
Getting to Motovun is somewhat of an challenge because there are no direct bus lines from these airports to Motovun.
Some people already booked accommodation and their hosts offered to pick them up at the Pula airport, for instance.
Most of the Croatian EuroNet team will arrive to Motovun from Zagreb (on Wed 5th) and we will probably be able to give you a ride or organise a transfer for you. Same applies to Slovenian team and the Ljubljana airport.
If you get to Pazin - the closest, regularly served, bus station to Motovun - we can pick you up with a car.
