Animal (Reptile & Mammal) Care Volunteer -Responsible for all aspects of day to day care of OLC animals housed inside. Includes cleaning, feeding, and handling. Please Note: we are not taking new volunteers for this role until September 2023.

Raptor Care Volunteer - Responsible for all aspects of day to day care of OLC raptors. Includes cleaning, feeding, grooming, and handling. You may also be asked to take raptors to community events and provide presentations on behalf of the OLC. Volunteers must be 18 and over

Open House Docents - Responsible for helping during open houses. You must be willing to answer questions, lead tours, and act as a representative for the OLC.

Volunteer Naturalist - Responsible for helping OLC staff run educational programming for students K-5. You must love working with kids, pass a background test, and have daytime availability. Must be at least 18 years old

Trail and Gardens/Maintenance - Responsible for supporting maintenance of OLC grounds to include raking, shrub and tree triimming, planting, weeding and other assorted tasks on the grounds. Typically needed Spring through Summer. Tools provided by OLC.

Special Event Volunteer - Responsible for helping plan, fundraise, run, and represent the OLC at events.
