Refusal to sign and date our Terms of Service will be an automatic decline of any services requested.

Terms of Service Agreement:
1. I understand that attendance by my dog at Cottage Critter Care's daycare/boarding program involves group play with other dogs. Although our team will closely supervise all pets and a mandatory temperament test for new comers. I accept that play behavior, unknown or undocumented aggression, or routine daily activities can lead to altercations and injuries. I assume the risks of and responsibility for the cost to treat any injuries my dog sustains while playing at Cottage Critter Care. I further understand and accept that Cottage Critter Care and owners will not be held liable for any injuries or deaths related to my dog’s participation in doggy daycare
 2. Dogs in Doggy Day Care or boarding, must not exhibit any aggressive behavior for any reason. Any dog exhibiting undesirable behavior will be safely isolated from the rest of the Doggy Day Care and will not be allowed re-admission until such behavior has been modified. Private training may be suggested or required. We reserve the right to exclude dogs from Doggy Day Care that pose a potential risk to the safety of our dogs and staff, or if your dog is unhappy in our pack.
3. In the event my dog contracts a communicable disease during the time he/she is attending doggy daycare, I accept responsibility for the costs of all treatments. I also agree to withhold my dog from doggy daycare until he/she has been free of any signs of the disease which will be determined by a veterinarian. Although the risk of acquiring communicable diseases is small, I accept the risk and agree Cottage Critter Care harmless from expenses incurred for treatment.
4. I understand and agree that if the need arises, emergency medical care for my pet will be sought from Cottage Critter Care, and I agree to pay all reasonable cost for such treatment. I understand that one of our team members will attempt to call me as soon as the situation is stable, at which time authorization for further care will be transferred to me.
5. Owner agrees that their pet may be videotaped and/or photographed. The Facility shall be an exclusive owner to the results and all proceeds of such taping or photography throughout the world, an unlimited number of times in perpetuity, to copyright, to use and to license to others in any manner. Owner further agrees that their pet may be used in any and all media and the promotion, advertising, sale, publicizing and exploitation of the Facility.
6. The facility is not responsible for any loss or damage to any additional items you might bring with your dog to our care services. Including but not limited to any bedding, bowls, toys and/or collars.

Cottage Critter Care agrees to provide pet sitting and other applicable pet care services in a reliable, caring and trustworthy manner. In consideration of the services and as an express condition thereof, the client expressly waives and releases Cottage Critter Care LLC from any and all claims against Cottage Critter Care except those arising from negligence or willful misconduct on the part of Cottage Critter Care.
Client accepts responsibility for all medical expenses and other damages resulting from an injury to the Pet Sitter, other persons or other animal(s) caused by the Client’s pet(s) or negligent act, unless caused through negligence or willful misconduct on the part of Cottage Critter Care.

Client agrees to notify Cottage Critter Care of any concerns within 24 hours of completion of services.

Cottage Critter Care shall exercise all precautions against sickness, injury, escape, loss, accidents or death of Client’s pet(s). This may include the use of equipment owned by Cottage Critter Care on dog walks for the safety of both the Pet Sitter and the pet(s). Due to the extreme unpredictability of animals, Cottage Critter Care cannot be held responsible for any unusual mishaps (i.e., pet’s refusal to take medication, escaping from the yard, biting, eating or destroying household items, damage to inside/outside of home, personal injury/accidental death).

Cottage Critter Care reserves the right to terminate this contract at any time if the Pet Sitter, in his/her sole discretion, determines that the Client’s pet(s) poses a danger to the health or safety of itself, other pets, other people or the Pet Sitter. If concerns prohibit the Pet Sitter from caring for the pet, Cottage Critter Care will attempt to contact to contact the Client to arrange alternative care. If the Client cannot be contacted, the Client authorizes Cottage Critter Care to place the pet in a licensed kennel with all charges and fees arising to be the responsibility of the Client.


In the event of personal emergency or illness of Pet Sitter, Client authorizes Cottage Critter Care to arrange for another provider to fulfill pet sitting responsibilities. Client will be notified in such a case. All terms and conditions set forth on this contract will apply to replacement Pet Sitter and Client.

Client authorizes the use of pet(s) pictures on website, social media and/or marketing materials for promotional purposes.

Cottage Critter Care requires disclosure of all cameras inside of and surrounding the home. Cottage Critter Care expects reasonable privacy inside of the home and does not allow the use of cameras in bathrooms and spaces designated for the Pet Sitter to sleep.

Client authorizes this contract to be valid approval for services so as to permit Pet Sitting Company to accept all future in person, telephone, online, mail or email reservations and provide services without additional signed contracts or written authorizations.

The Terms of this document apply to all pets owned by the client, including any and all new pets that the customer obtains on or after the date this document was signed. – – Show

Cottage Critter Care provides the following services at the following rates unless otherwise agreed upon:

A. Meet and greet: A one-time, free of charge meeting between Cottage Critter Care, Client, and Client’s pet(s) to identify the needs of Client and establish further services.

B. Dog walking: Visits focused on dog walks lasting 30 ($21), 60 ($26) minutes in duration with arrival between business hours of 8a.m. and 8p.m.

C. Drop-in visits: Individual visits lasting 30 ($20), or 60 ($30) minutes in duration with arrival between business hours of 8a.m. and 8p.m.

D. Over-night visits: 10 hours ($80) of pet care between the hours of 8pm and 10am, in which the Pet Sitter sleeps in Client’s home.

The following holidays are subject to a an increased rate:
New Year’s eve, New Year’s day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Father’s Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas eve, and Christmas day.

Cottage Critter Care requires that all non-canine pets under the care of Cottage Critter Care for vacation services are visited at least once every 24 hours. Cottage Critter Care requires that all canines under our care for vacation services are visited at least three times every 24 hours.

Cottage Critter Care reserves the right to adjust thermostats to maintain a temperature comfortable for the Pet Sitter.

Cottage Critter Care will provide updates as requested by Client within the business operating hours of 8a.m.-10p.m.

Client agrees to notify Cottage Critter Care of their return home within 12 hours of arrival. In the event that Client fails to provide notification of arrival and does not respond to communications, Cottage Critter Care will visit the home to ensure pet(s) are tended, at an additional charge. – – Show

III. Payments and cancelations Arbitrary Text (no form field) 17. Client agrees to pay all charges accrued for services rendered. Client understands that payment is due at or prior to the time of the commencement of services unless explicably agreed upon supplementary payment terms.

Client is responsible for supplying the necessary equipment and supplies needed for the care of their pet(s) including, but not limited to, a sturdy, well-fit harness or collar and leash for walks or in case of emergencies, pet food, medications, identification tags, litter boxes, cat litter and cleaning supplies. Client authorizes any purchase of necessary for the satisfactory performance of duties. Costs of all purchases and related service fees will be reimbursed to Cottage Critter Care within 7 days of conclusion of service.

Cottage Critter Care will provide payment reminders on the following schedule for late payments: 48 hours after conclusion of services, 5 calendar days after conclusion of services, 7 calendar days after conclusion of services. Client will incur a fee of $15 a day per day that an outstanding balance due is carried after 7 calendar days.

Client will incur a $25 charge for each returned check in addition to any and all bank fees attributed to the returned check.
Cottage Critter Care accepts payment in the form of cash, check, and Paypal. Checks should be made payable to Cottage Critter Care.

Cottage Critter Care reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of 100% of the scheduled visits for dog walking services cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. This cancelation fee is to be remitted within 7 calendar days of cancelation notice.

Cottage Critter Care reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled visits for vacation services cancelled with 7-14 calendar days notice prior to the scheduled service. This cancelation fee is to be remitted within 7 calendar days of cancelation notice.

Cottage Critter Care reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of 100% of the scheduled visits for vacation services cancelled with less than 3 calendar days notice prior to the scheduled service. This cancelation fee is to be remitted within 3 calendar days of cancelation notice.

Cottage Critter Care reserves the right to cancel or refuse future services in the event that due balances are not satisfied inside of the time allowances outlined in this agreement. – – Show IV.

Home access Arbitrary Text (no form field) 26. This document gives Cottage Critter Care authorization to enter the Client’s listed address as needed to perform agreed upon services.

Cottage Critter Care requires a copy of keys to the home even when other means of entry are available (including but not limited to automatic door openers and electric key pads). Keys may be kept in the possession of Cottage Critter Care or in a secure lockbox.

Client expressly gives Cottage Critter Care the authority to employ a locksmith on their behalf and to promptly reimburse Cottage Critter Care for all costs incurred in the event of a malfunction of the lock, keys or automatic door opener.

Cottage Critter Care requires full disclosure of any other persons or companies with access to the home while providing pet care services.
Cottage Critter Care shall not be held liable for any damages or loss incurred to your property or pets during the entirety of any pet sitting schedule, where persons or companies other than Cottage Critter Care has access to your home.

Cottage Critter Care does not allow job sharing under the terms of this agreement unless explicably agreed upon in writing prior to the beginning of service. This includes paid and unpaid care. In the event that job sharing is explicably agreed upon in writing prior to the beginning or service, Cottage Critter Care requires that Client completes an additional Job Sharing Release. Cottage Critter Care cannot be held liable for any damages or discontinuities in care which occur as the result of a shared job. In the event that additional caretakers cannot provide care as agreed to, Cottage Critter Care will do everything possible to accommodate scheduling changes (at an additional fee) but cannot guarantee availability.

Cottage Critter Care will not enter an occupied home under any circumstances that they have not previously been made aware of, nor will they allow entry to any person they have not been made aware of. The police will be called on all intruders or suspicious acts without exception.

Client agrees to properly secure the home prior to leaving the premises. Cottage Critter Care will re-secure the home to the best of its ability at the end of each visit.

Cottage Critter Care is not liable for any loss or damage in the event of a burglary or other crime that should occur while under this contract. – – Show V. Pet care Arbitrary Text (no form field) 34.

Client represents and warrants that pet(s) are currently vaccinated and licensed in accordance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations. Should Pet Sitter or a third party be bitten or otherwise exposed to any disease or ailment received from Client’s animal which has not been properly and currently vaccinated, Client agrees to pay all costs and damages incurred by the victim(s).
Cottage Critter Care will follow the directions of the Veterinary Release Form in the case a pet should become injured or sick.

Cottage Critter Care shall not be held responsible for the loss, injury, death, or actions of any pet which Client has let outside or has instructed Cottage Critter Care to allow outside while the Pet Sitter is not there. This includes pets with doggie doors and outdoor pets.

Cottage Critter Care does not allow dogs to be walked off leash.

In the case of an emergency, inclement weather or a natural disaster, the Client authorizes Cottage Critter Care to use reasonable judgment for the care and well being of Client’s pet(s) and residence. Cottage Critter Care will make reasonable efforts to maintain service during these conditions but reserves the right to adjust the schedule of service based on the sole discretion of the Pet Sitter.

Under winter weather conditions, Client is responsible for making arrangements for snow and/or ice removal. Services may not be rendered in snow or ice covered driveways and/or walkways because of safety concerns.
