Sign-Up Race: Voluntary Declaration of Disability
(Your response to this question will not affect your application ranking)
The Sign-Up Race is a long-standing RMBS tradition and forms the second half of our application process. It takes place across several buildings in the northeastern part of North Campus and involves completing a series of location-based tasks. While it’s not designed as an athletic competition, it may include walking or running between locations, climbing stairs, and activities requiring dexterity.
If you have a mental or physical disability that could affect your ability to participate on equal footing with other applicants, we can provide accommodations. You will not be asked to provide medical documentation.
In cases where you are unable to run the race yourself, you may designate someone to participate on your behalf. However, we strongly encourage you to run it yourself whenever possible, as it’s a core part of the RMBS experience and tradition, which is highly valued by our club.
If you do not have a disability, we ask that you respect the spirit of the event and refrain from using this option as a way to bypass participation.
