Applying to host the StartUp Britain / NatWest bus
As part of an ongoing partnership, StartUp Britain and NatWest are looking to team up with a range of local organisations throughout 2016 to get the NatWest Mobile Business School (aka the StartUp Britain bus) into more towns and cities than ever before.

We're looking for local social enterprises and non-profits to propose and manage high-impact bus visits that deliver on StartUp Britain's core mission: promoting entrepreneurship. More specifically, we're looking for unique events that inspire individuals to turn their business ideas into action, celebrate entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial communities across Britain, and raise awareness of national and local support available to entrepreneurs.

We've put together the below application form to invite your ideas and to help you consider what is needed in planning and executing such an event.

Upon submission, StartUp Britain and NatWest will review the application within 14 days (nb this may take longer during the six week summer tour each June and July).

In addition to one-day visits, we also welcome proposals for week-long regional tours. These would be managed by trusted regional organisations and involve multiple events across 5 or more towns/cities. To propose a tour, please email Kosta Mavroulakis via kosta@centreforentrepreneurs.org

Logistics
For reference, the bus is 9.1m long, 2.4m wide and 4.1m tall. It weighs 8.5 tons (circa 8600KG). It carries an ultra-silent diesel generator used to light and power the bus. If the generator cannot be used, mains power is required.

As a local host, you would be expected to project manage the bus visit - including logistics, event planning, promotion, pre and post-event PR and social media. NatWest and StartUp Britain would provide support in the run-up through regular conference calls. We would also work with you closely on PR, public affairs and social media activity.

Have you checked the location is suitable for the size and weight of the bus?
