The following agreement serves to establish a mutual understanding of the role of a volunteer and to reinforce the school's Vision, Goals and Educational Philosophy.
As a volunteer for Providence Academy, I agree to:
Support parents, under the guidance of teachers and staff, in raising up Godly leaders whose firm foundation is Jesus Christ.
Reinforce Christian and classical methods of education; teaching students how to think, learn and reason with a biblical worldview with the goal of building future generations of strong believers who can stand firm in their faith and impact the world for Christ.
Be a model of the biblical Christian life.
Encourage students to develop a love for learning and live up to his/her academic potential.
Follow the lead of teachers and staff in providing an orderly atmosphere conducive to learning.
Support teachers and staff in reinforcing biblical discipline principles.
As a volunteer for Providence Academy, I understand that I must:
Sign-in and sign-out in the Main Office when entering and leaving the building.
Wear a visible guest name badge while actively volunteering in the building.
Inform the office/teaching staff of any issues that may impact my service as a volunteer and notify them when unable to volunteer.
Sign a Volunteer Driver Agreement before transporting students in a vehicle.
Agree to a legal background check, providing legal name, date of birth and social security number.
Maintain confidentiality of all student information.
Abstain from smoking while on Providence Academy grounds and any time while students are present.
By completing this form, I understand and agree to abide by the preceding, volunteer guidelines:
