The Stop Campus Hazing Act (S. 2901/H.R. 5646) creates transparency and consistency for how hazing incidents at colleges and universities are defined and recorded by making it a Clery Act reportable crime. It also requires research-based education to prevent hazing, and strengthens institutional transparency by requiring institutions publish a report about campus hazing incidents.
