AAPI Mental Health: Opening Intergenerational Conversations (9/17 @ 7PM)
Palo Alto High School Associated Study Body, The Asian American Foundation, and Third State Books are hosting an Asian American mental health event to open intergenerational discussions on Tuesday, September 17th, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM. Paly students were inspired to host this event as members of the AAPI community are 50% less likely than other racial groups to seek mental health services. We hope that this event opens up mental health conversations with the Asian American community and equip students & families with tools to navigate Silicon Valley stress.

We are excited to have Mayor Greer Stone give opening remarks and have a panel discussion and Q&A with:

Norman Chen — CEO of The Asian American Foundation
Dion Lim — News Anchor for ABC7/KGO-TV
Dr. Bina Patel — Director of Stanford University Vaden Counseling
Garry Tan — CEO of Y Combinator
