Calarts CAP, in partnership with Mendez High School, presents free summer art classes.
From music production to digital photography to film and animation, students are invited to explore, interact, and play with disciplines taught at CalArts at CAPSA: Creative Labs. This FREE four-week summer interdisciplinary arts program is designed for high schoolers, featuring classes led by CalArts’ artist educators.
The program is hosted at Mendez HS from July 6 to July 31, Monday through Friday, from 10 am to 2 pm, with lunch provided daily. A final culminating event will be held on Saturday, August 1st.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: MUST BE A HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT IN LA COUNTY.*
