11th Annual Fr. Kapaun Pilgrimage May 30th-June 2nd , 2019
May 30 - June 2, 2019
Just a little info on the Pilgrimage.
This is our 11th year making a pilgrimage from Church of the Magdalen in Wichita, KS to Fr. Kapaun's hometown of Pilsen, KS, 60 miles north. This Pilgrimage is a great way to learn about the life of our, God willing, Kansas home grown saint, Fr. Kapaun. In years past, the pilgrimage has been broken down into 3 rigorous days of walking. For the safety of the pilgrims and a deeper enhancement of the spiritual experience of the the Fr. Kapaun Pilgrimage, the committee has decided to spread the walk over 4 days. In doing this our walking pace can be slowed so we can all walk together, to provide more reflections (Kapaun Stations), and more talks on Kapaun's Life. Though the pace will not be as strenuous, the walk itself will still be demanding, as our longest day will be first, 22 miles long.

All people under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
