SCWH Graduate Student Writing Group
The Society of Civil War Historians Graduate Student Writing Group meets monthly on the first Friday the month at 5pm EST (for example: September 2 at 5pm and October 7 at 5pm). All meetings will occur via zoom. Please fill out this form if you are interested in joining, and we will send you a zoom link and provide access to the GoogleDrive.  

Aimed at graduate students, you will be sharing writing samples with your peers to help hold one another accountable and get feedback on your work. This writing can come in any form: thesis and dissertations, chapters, footnotes, historiographical essays, article drafts, book reviews, fellowship applications, etc. To keep it manageable for everyone, each person is limited to 5 double-spaced pages each month.
