Sofa Shakespeare Submission
INFO: PLEASE READ!

Sofa Shakespeare is for all humans (and their pets/puppets/whatever is around) who are alive and enjoy reading and performing Shakespeare. Together we will create one play, one minute at a time.

TO SUBMIT FOR A SPOT IN A SOFA SHAKESPEARE PLAY:
1) Fill out this Google Form. Please do NOT use an @me.com or @live.com email if you can, because it will not let me email you. You may be able to get around this by whitelisting SofaShakespeare@gmail.com BEFORE I contact you.

2) Wait to hear back from me. Check your spam/junk folder and be sure to allow SofaShakespeare@gmail.com if you want to ensure my messages arrive. Once you get your chunk, it's in your hands. ONE chunk will be provided per submission, more than one person can work together on one submission. Only rules are you must film in landscape, you can't exceed one minute, and you must say all the words provided to you (not stage directions). All plays are completely uncut because WHY NOT. Preferred formats are MP4 or MOV, and if you use Google Drive feel free to upload it to your Drive and share it with me. MailDrop and WeTransfer also work. If you do not respond to my initial email, you will forfeit your spot. By submitting a video you acknowledge that Sofa Shakespeare owns the footage and can edit and distribute it as long as you are credited as the performer.

3) CHECK THE ACTOR FAQs at SofaShakespeare.com if you need any help. Get creative! Use animals, children, finger puppets, sing, translate it into another language, wear a silly hat, or just sit on the sofa and read it off your damn phone, I don't care! I do ask if you realize you can't make the deadline to cancel with me ahead of time so another person can take your chunk.

ROMEO AND JULIET, TWELFTH NIGHT, TITUS ANDRONICUS, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, HENRY V, and MACBETH, and MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING are live.

THE WINTER'S TALE is next!
JULIUS CAESAR and THE TEMPEST follow.
