Explore the USA with Regional Cuisines (all ages, 6+)
Did you know that Apple Pie, Clam Chowder, Texas BBQ and Boston Cream Pie are some of America’s favorite dishes? American cuisine is based around regional dishes which are inspired by local ingredients, culture and ethnicity. For example, in New England, many popular dishes are based on fishing and seasonal fruits and vegetables such as pumpkins, apples and berries. Travel across America with Miss Liz, owner of Food Jules, to learn how to create these famous regional dishes.
Students work in teams to prep, cook and bake while exploring the food and culture of a different USA region each week. ALL OF OUR CLASSES ARE NUT FREE and ALLERGY FRIENDLY.
Students will receive a cookbook with all of these recipes at the end of the session so they can enjoy cooking and baking all of our delicious dishes at home.
Cost: $175 per child (sibling discount available: $150 for each additional child). Check made payable to Food Jules must be sent to Food Jules, 114 Far Horizon Drive, Monroe, CT 06468 or payment may be submitted via VENMO to @lizfoodjules. Your child's spot in the class will be confirmed upon receipt of payment. Registration and Payment is due by Feb 14th. Thank you.
