Our students are globally-dispersed researchers, the research materials they use should be too! As librarians supporting online learning programs, we are in a position to help students/faculty find and use research and resources from traditionally underrepresented regions. Join your library colleagues as we discuss our strategies for increasing exposure to online/accessible research and resources from non-US and non-English speaking countries, with emphasis on the global North/South divide.
Come share your favorite resources, assignments, sample-searches and faculty-collaboration strategies. Coffee and light refreshments offered to those joining us at Mercy College. For those of you who cannot join in person, we will try our first "hybrid" meeting, via meeting software.
This meeting is just ONE of the benefits of membership in ACRLNY, if you are not yet a member, please join by June 6, 2018 URL: http://acrlny.org/join-us/
