Welcome to the Dragons Soccer Club Tryouts for the Fall 2026 – Spring 2027 season! 

We are excited to evaluate players interested in joining our competitive teams for the upcoming year. Please complete this form to register for tryouts.

📌 US Soccer Age Group Update (Important)

Beginning Fall 2026, Dragons Soccer Club will align with the guidance of US Youth Soccer and shift team formation from birth year (January 1 to December 31) to an August 1 to July 31 model to better align age groups with school calendars

Moving to this model reflects evolving national standards and is intended to better support player development, competitive balance, and the overall experience for our athletes and families.  

All tryouts will be with the age group your player qualifies for in the 2026-27 season. You can see this at the following link. Or if you are still unsure, please reach out before you register for direction on the correct session.

🔍 Tryout Process

  • Each player is required to attend at least one tryout session. Attending both sessions assigned is strongly reccomended. 
  • After evaluations are complete, offer letters will be sent based on performance, current coach input if applicable, roster needs, and team balance.

**Not every player who attends will be offered a roster spot.

  • U8, U9, U10 Girls -- 5:00 - 6:30 PM
  • U11, U12 Girls -- 6:30 - 8:00 PM 
  • U13, U14 Girls -- 8:00 - 9:30 PM

Thursday, April 16, 2026 (BOYS)

  • U8, U9, U10 Boys -- 5:00 - 6:30 PM
  • U11, U12 Boys -- 6:30 - 8:00 PM 
  • U13, U14 Boys -- 8:00 - 9:30 PM

Saturday, April 18, 2026 (BOYS & GIRLS )
  • U14 Boys & Girls -- 9:00 - 10:00 AM
  • U13 Boys & Girls – 10:00 - 11: 00 AM
  • U12 Boys & Girls – 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • U11 Boys & Girls – 1:45 - 2:45 PM 
  • U10 Boys & Girls – 2:45 - 3:45 PM 
  • U9, U8 Boys & Girls -- 3:45 - 4:45 PM

🏆 League Affiliations

Dragons SC teams compete in the following leagues:

  • Elite Development Program (EDP)
  • Northern Counties Soccer Association (NCSA)

Additional tournaments and showcases are assigned based on team placement.

📬 Offer Process & Timeline

  • Offer letters are expected to be sent via email the week of April 27
  • Families will have 24 hours to accept their roster spot
  • After the deadline, remaining spots will be offered to waitlisted players
Early-decision requests
  • Families who receive an offer from another club that requires an earlier response may contact us directly.
  • To ensure fairness, proof of the external offer and deadline will be required before we can confirm a player’s evaluation status.

✅ Important Information

  • Players must bring shin guards, cleats, water, and a properly inflated ball
  • Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for check-in ⏰
  • Tryouts are free of charge, but registration is required
