Parental Recommendation Form

This questionnaire is confidential. Bishop George and Pastor Mary Searight will review this information to better determine the Candidates readiness to public ministry, preaching and a future licensing or ordination process.

--------------

Because our purpose as a Christian church is to bring hope, love, and healing to families, it is of great importance that we endeavor at all times to build our ministry with people of the highest moral and spiritual character.

To maintain our high standards, we must asl all Ministers -In- Training (MIT) to be prepared to subject themselves to certain personal character assessments. The information will be used to help to provide a safe and secure environment for the families that attend ALFWC and to present to the church and world mature disciples of Jesus Christ.

The preservation of family is extremely important to ALFWC. In fact, part of our mission is to engage every member in building families. Therefore, anyone who desires to participate as a minister must understand that ministry must first begin at home. Every minister must rule their household well and have proof of soundness in the home. It is our prayer that Ministers will learn the importance of balancing time and attention between their families and religious careers. Therefore, as a church, we encourage our Ministers to devote as much time to their families as they do to ALFWC.
