Wake Up Wainfleet!
Wainfleet Fire & Emergency Services is offering free home visits during its "Wake-up Wainfleet” campaign beginning September 1st 2019.

Wainfleet Fire & Emergency Services will attempt to schedule a time that is convenient to complete the assessment.

Wainfleet Fire & Emergency Services personnel will test each smoke and carbon monoxide alarm and answer any questions you may have in regards to fire safety.

Many fire deaths in the home occur at night while people are sleeping. Working smoke and carbon monoxide alarms offer an early warning that can make the difference between life and death. According to studies published by the National Fire Protection Association, having working smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, reduces the risk of death by nearly half. Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms should be part of your overall home fire safety strategy that also includes having a home fire escape plan.

Wainfleet wants to encourage the residents to participate in “Wake-up Wainfleet”. The first 50 scheduled for a Home Fire & Life Safety Inspection will be entered for a chance to win a $50.00 gift card to DJ's Roadhouse. This initiative will make our township, homes, and community a safer place to live.
