2022 POST Professional Substitute Teacher Virtual Training Registration

POST Professional was created to support Wyoming educators in achieving their goal of providing a CTE pathway for students interested in pursuing teaching as a career. POST provides PTSB approved curriculum through the ProSubs Skillful Teaching course for the 24 hours of required classroom instruction towards a Wyoming Substitute Teacher Certificate.

The Objective of the POST training
• Increase opportunities for Wyoming students to explore a CTE pathway in education
• Offer an innovative option for districts to certify students as substitute teachers and paraprofessionals upon graduation from high school
• Assist in meeting the current in-demand need for highly skilled substitute teachers and paraprofessionals

The Opportunity for school districts and students
•Train secondary Wyoming CTE teachers to deliver the ProSubs Skillful Teaching curriculum
•  Prepare recently graduated students to accept quality employment as a substitute teacher or paraprofessional while continuing their education or as a full-time career option
•  Provide highly skilled and effective substitute teachers and paraprofessionals to districts from within their community

Please join us VIRTUALLY for the  POST Professional Substitute Teacher Virtual Training for all four (4) sessions on September 20th, 22nd, 27th and 29th, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  BY REGISTERING FOR HIS OPPORTUNITY INDICATES THAT YOU UNDERSTAND ALL FOUR (4) SESSIONS MUST BE ATTENDED. Prior to the POST training you will receive an agenda and Zoom link.
