Show Order:
Showmanship: Prek & Under- 12th grade
Breeding Gilt show: Purebred, Commercial
Market Hog Show: Purebred Barrows, Crossbred Barrows, Market Gilts
*All crossbred gilts and barrows will be classified at check in as light or dark cross.*
General Rules:
All hogs must be checked in prior to 9 AM Saturday, September 12th.
All exhibitors must check in and pay before weighing the animals.
Show is open to 12th grade and under (from any state).
Due to limited pen space, pens will be on a first come basis (NO tack pens). Once pens are full you must show off your trailer.
All animals must have an official health certificate.
No limit to the number of hogs you can show.
All animals must have a readable ear tag or ear notch.
All male hogs must be castrated.
*Gilts can be doubled entered *

Light Cross:
1. A market hog must exhibit coloration consisting solely of white and/or blue.
2. Eligibility under the light cross category will be determined at check in.
3. Any market hog failing to meet the criteria for Light Cross shall be immediately reclassified to the Dark Cross division.
4. The decision rendered by the classification committee shall be final and not subject to appeal or protest.
Dark Cross:
1. Any market hog exhibiting the coloration other than white or blue shall be classified as dark cross.
2. This includes, but is not limited to, market hogs with black, red, or sandy coloring. 3. Market hogs in the Dark Cross category will not require committee classification.
Market Hogs:
Market classes will be shown by weight. Classes will be divided based on entries.
There will be a purebred barrow, market barrow (light and dark) , and a market gilt (light and dark) show as divided above.
Purebred Barrows:
Must present registration certificates in the exhibitor's name.
Shown by breed if 8 (EIGHT or more of that breed is entered. If there are not enough for
a breed class, they will show in the AOB class)
Breeding Gilts:
Commercial Gilts:
Breeding gilts will not exceed 390 lbs
Divisions for light cross and dark cross.
Purebred Gilts:
Must present registration certificates in the exhibitor's name.
Shown by age - Farrowed on or after January 1, 2026
Shown by breed if 5 (Five or more of that breed is entered. If there are not enough for
a breed class, they will show in the AOB class.)
Showmanship will be shown by grade with the following divisions:
Showmanship divisions will be Beginner (1st and under), Junior (2nd-5th), Intermediate (6th-8th), & Senior
(9th-12th)
Champion, Reserve, 3rd, 4th, and 5th overall in each show will be recognized. Premiums will be provided to the top 3 in each show (purebred breeding gilts, commercial breeding gilts, purebred barrows, market barrows & market gilts)
The judge’s decision is final in all classes
Show officials reserve the right to make changes deemed necessary for the best interest of the show.
