COVID-19 (Corona-virus) Best Practices
COVID-19 or Corona virus has recently been classified as a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO). Many farmers markets, restaurants and school systems and other typical markets have closed or modified their schedule as a precaution to slow the advancement of the illness. With West Virginia's population above average in at risk individuals, there is a growing concern for the safety of citizens attending the farmers market.

This situation may lead to a need for direct farm to consumer plans.

The WVFMA wants to know how we can help the farmers, producers, and farmers markets continue to provide produce and other food products through this epidemic. We also want to know what your plan is, and if you need any specific resources to continue serving your community.
