Community Group Health Check
A Community Group Health Check is designed to help you and your group continue to be more like Christ. It is important that your group understands and practices the truths of scriptures and the values of community at StoneWater Church. We hope this tool will help!

Both you and your community group will experience times of great triumph where you can clearly see the movement of God around you. There may be other times when you are in a tough season and need encouragement. As the church, we want to spur one another on to do good works. We want to be able to care, serve, pray, and minister to those within our church family no matter what season you may be in.

This Health Check is designed for you to do as an individual. We want you to be open and honest about where you are personally. We do not distribute this assessment to anyone within your group. You should feel safe about the open and honest answers you provide.

It is our desire for you and your group to walk humbly, wisely, and exactly with the Lord. The Pastoral Staff will use these Health Checks to see how effective groups are at creating environments for growing relationships that lead to life change. We want to ensure your group is meeting for a spiritual purpose. This is a time for your community group to receive counsel, encouragement, and care. It also provides an opportunity to provide any resources and address any concerns.

Once each member of your group has completed the Health Check, we encourage your group to come together and discuss the “health” of the group. This should spark some great conversation amongst your group members. It is designed to find areas where we need to exercise more faith, practice self control, invest in the gifts we’ve been given, become disciplined, and allow for God’s protection.

We define community as real relationships that move you closer to Jesus.
Being in a community group should spur you to grow in your relationship to Jesus.
