Thank you for your interest in adopting a dog with New Orleans Bulldog Rescue! The following information is requested so that NOBR can assist you in the selection of a new family member. The consultation process is designed to help us (1) determine if the adoption is in the best interest of the dog, and (2) assist you in finding the dog who is most compatible with your lifestyle.
NOBR's adoptable dogs arrived here from a variety of sources. All dogs are examined upon entry, and their health is routinely monitored. That said, there is always a chance that a dog is incubating a disease without showing any clinical signs.
Our adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, vaccinations, heartworm test and treatment, fecal exam, a microchip, and a leash and harness.
Our adoption radius is generally limited to 2-hours around the New Orleans area. Exceptions may be made for certain dogs that require us to extend the radius further.
In order to be considered as an adopter today, you must:
(1) be 21 years of age or older
(2) have identification showing your present address
(3) have the knowledge and consent of your landlord (if applicable)
(4) be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment, and proper care of a dog
New Orleans Bulldog Rescue reserves the right to refuse adoption to anyone.
The dog's welfare is our foremost concern. No dog will be adopted by applicants who mislead or fail to provide accurate information on this Adoption Application or any other associated forms.
