Join Delaware Sea Grant, Delaware Nature Society, and Stroud Water Research Center for a one-day workshop to learn an exciting way to engage your students in local place-based problem-solving that integrates stewardship, civic action, and meets state standards for social studies, language arts, math, science, technology, and career awareness.

Thursday, June 29, 2023, , 9 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. - UD Lewes Campus, 1044 College Drive, Lewes, DE 19958.
Who: Classroom teachers, school administrators, and other education partners serving K-12 students in Delaware. Priority will be given to teachers and administrators from Caesar Rodney School District and Appoquinimink School District.
Cost: FREE! Lunch and refreshments are included for all participants. Participants from the following school districts, charter schools in those districts, or educators that serve those districts will receive a $100 stipend for attending the workshop. Districts that can receive funding are Appoquinimink School District, Caesar Rodney School District, Delmar School District, Indian River School District, Lake Forest School District, Laurel School District, Seaford School District, and Woodbridge School District.
