GRMS Course Review Form 2025-2026 School Year

Please read the below information carefully:

The purpose of this form is to request a schedule review for a CORE course placement change or an elective change prior to the deadline below. The submission of this form does not guarantee that a change will be made.  Course placement reviews will be conducted in July after grades have been finalized and state testing data has been received.

Fill this form out to request course review  changes for the 2025-2026 School Year.  

Please fill out a new form for each course change requested.*

**You only need to fill out this form ONCE for a request. Multiple entries for the same request are deleted.

 Elective course reviews will be considered and will only be granted if there is space in the course.
      *Priority will go to elective requests prior to Spring Break.  
      *The deadline to submit a course placement change is June 2nd.
      *Consider electives carefully! Students are expected to stick with the electives they choose.     

We most likely will not have room to change courses after the master schedule has been built. 


Please NOTE: At this time, only CORE Course Reviews with the following conditions will be approved:

     ___ Your grades and testing data reflect a course placement change from standard to advanced or advanced
           to honors consistent with the progression plan.

     ___ You selected the wrong elective choice in error and there is room for us to move you to the elective of                   your choice.

     ___You are in a class for which you have already received a passing grade.

     ___You are missing a class you need for successful completion of middle school.

       ___ You are missing the next course in the progression from a course already taken. (For example: You took Theatre 1 last year, but Theatre 2 is missing on your course recommendations and you selected it.)


Course Requests for the following reasons will be denied:

     ___ You are requesting to move from standard to advanced or advanced to honors and your grades (and/or)
            testing data does not meet progression.

     ___  Teacher Preference

     ___ Course Period Preference
