Thank you for your interest in volunteering aboard Clearwater during the 2026 season!
One of Clearwater’s greatest assets is our enthusiastic onboard volunteer program. The Clearwater volunteer program pulls together groups of four to six individuals weekly who
contribute a unique perspective and energy to our education program and onboard community. In 2026, Clearwater will be accepting volunteers mid-April through the end of July to live and work onboard for a week. In addition to helping the crew facilitate our onboard programs, we depend on our volunteers to help with chores and maintenance.
We will begin reviewing volunteer applications soon, so look out for an interview request in
February so that we can begin to welcome onboard volunteers starting in the first weeks of April.
Volunteers must be fully vaccinated.

Clearwater respects LGBTQIA+ people; we use language and actions that are respectful of all gender identities and sexual orientations. Clearwater celebrates and welcomes members of any race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, gender, sex, sexual orientation or identity, and age to apply.
Please note: due to a planned restoration effort, the 2026 sailing season is shortened and will end in July. If you are interested in assisting with restoration work, you may still submit an application for the fall.
