Finding the right match for you
The River of Life has a wonderful community of women in Africa, Oceania & Asia, and Latin America. All our women are very active members of the Global Ecovillage Network and we have long standing relationships with them. They work in a diversity of fields, such as education and greening schools, farming and resilient livelihood, response to emergencies, social enterprise and economic regeneration, etc. If you have a specific region or field of interest you wish to support, we do our best to find a good match for you.

Financial Contribution
From our experiences, women seem to thrive more when receiving a financial contribution over a 3 year period. This length of time brings the opportunity to hold longer-term visions and gives the stability to create changes and structures that are strong and lasting. However, shorter 1 to 2 years support is possible as well.   A full annual stipend is £4000 and fully supports one women. A partial stipend can range from £1000 to £4000 and partially supports a women. Any other amount may not support a women for a year however is most welcome and can support the programme itself or a specific project one of our women is working on.
