The Fam System aims to create a welcoming environment where new members can actively participate in the organization. UTFSA recognizes that if an Ate or Kuya are inactive, it can make it challenging for an ading to adjust to both college life and the organization. The Ading Protection Program is designed to ensure that all new members are satisfied and happy with the families they are placed in, especially since randomized families were created without any preferences in mind.
You are qualified for this program if:
- Your Ate and Kuya are both inactive.
- Your Ate and Kuya do not respond to you for more than 1-2 weeks.
- On multiple occasions, your fam makes plans, but do not show up and/or choose to cancel last minute.
- Your Ate and Kuya do not help you transition into the college environment and would much rather tend to other things rather than you.
