Consider taking up the Gainesville Greenway Challenge; we will be hosting several events between now and February 24th and anyone who participates will be welcome to join the celebration at Morningside Nature Center from 11:30 - 1:30 and will receive raffle tickets for the free prize drawing. If you have a site on your own property you'd like to work on, email the coordinator for GIRR at GuynDH@GainesvilleFL.gov for details. Those who remove invasive plants on their own property will receive a data sheet, guidance on invasive removal, raffle tickets, and an invitation to the celebration on February 24th.
