Thank you for your interest in being a tutor/advisor for PEACE for Spring 2021! PEACE will also be offering officer positions in the future to PEACE members who have been actively involved as a tutor/advisor for at least one semester.

PEACE is a student organization dedicated to changing the Berkeley stereotype of competition by providing all students with access to resources such as free one-on-one tutoring, holistic advising, and a strong social community. By fostering a collaborative atmosphere, we aim to create a more accepting environment among UC Berkeley undergraduates and show them that learning can be rewarding. Ultimately, this organization will facilitate the learning process and demonstrate how success can be attained through cooperation rather than competition.

Requirements for Active Member status:
- Respond to all emails and fill out all forms sent out by the officer team in a prompt manner
- Availability of at least 1 hour/week to tutor/advise should there be requests
- Attend ALL member meetings unless there is a class or midterm conflict

Tutors: Must Complete the Following Requirements to be Active (in addition to weekly tutoring)
- Contribute at least 1 resource to the Resource Bank/semester
- Join at least two committees under the Tutoring Branch

Advisors: Must Complete the Following Requirements to be Active (in addition to weekly advising)
- Be willing to participate in other Advising Branch activities such as writing advising blogs when requested
- Join at least two committees under the Advising Branch
