Malaysian National Poetry Slam 2025 Registration Form
The Malaysian National Poetry Slam (MNPS) is back! This event is suitable for beginners to learn creative writing, how to shape their thoughts, self-express, critical thinking and tips and tricks to effective performances. Here's some good news! MNPS is now recognised by the World Poetry Slam Organisation (WPSO) so the champion will represent Malaysia for the World Poetry Slam 🥳 This year, we will be doing a physical roadshow in 8 states across Malaysia to select spoken word poets to represent their region at the national poetry slam. Age Categories (Solo Performances Only):
Kids : (8 - 12 years old)
Teens : (13 - 17 years old)
Adults : (18 years old and above)

Note: Participants who undergo the regional workshops and selections will be recognised and awarded as Regional Representative at MNPS 2025.


Registration Fee         : RM 150 + 8% SST / participant
Early Bird Fee : RM 127.50 + 8% SST / participant (deadline extended to 25 September 2025)
Group Discount. : For Groups of 5 or more, the 5th registration will be free!

Kuching & Kota Kinabalu    : 1 November 2025 (Saturday)
Penang & Ipoh                      : 8 November 2025 (Saturday)
Kelantan                                : 14 November 2025 (Friday)
Kuantan                                 : 15 November 2025 (Saturday)
Grand Finale                         : 29 & 30 November 2025 (Saturday & Sunday)

Kids Category : Saturday, 29 November 2025 (1.30pm - 5.30pm) Teens Category     : Saturday, 29 November 2025 (8.30am - 12.30pm)   Adults Category   : Sunday, 30 November 2025 (8.30am - 12.30pm)  


Registration Deadline: Fourteen (14) days from the date of applicable workshop.
Payment Deadline: Fourteen (14) days from the date of applicable workshop.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURES:

STEP 1
Complete the registration form with the required details.

STEP 2
Wait for the organising committee to contact you through the email you provided in the registration form within 48 hours after you have submitted the registration form. The organising committee will send you an invoice for each student which will include:

i) Amount of registration fee due
ii) Due date for payment to be made
iii) Payment method and details
iv)   The proof of income or other documents for scholarship application (if applicable)

STEP 3
Make payment through the appropriate method and details. Once you have completed payment, please email the proof of payment to haifa@midp.edu.my. Please state the name of the student as well as the name of the event (Eg: John, MNPS 2025)
Kindly note that all registrations are final upon payment and no refund(s) will be provided under any circumstances, including pull outs before the event. Participants/ guardians / teachers are advised to take  appropriate measures in making sure of successful participation.
