Feel overwhelmed by the process of finding and applying for resources?
Enjoy unexpected laughter?
If you answered yes to any of the questions, you’re the perfect client for RoyHas LLC, a Public Health Consulting firm, owned and operated by Principal Consultant, Melinda Hasbrouck. Melinda is a Development Subject Matter Expert who happens to be a Lawyer, Public Health Specialist, Professor, Researcher, Author and Standup Comedian.
Melinda has over 25 years of investigating, coordinating and securing funding for multiple projects in unique and innovative approaches leaving her clients feeling relieved and excited about the abundance of funding opportunities to grow and sustain their passions desperately needed for the communities they live in and passionately serve.
Some of Melinda’s most impactful outcomes include:
- Securing over $330,000 in one grant with option years for a wellness center, founded, managed, and operated by persons who self-identify as being in recovery from serious mental health and/or substance use disorders. Other funding raised and valued at over $200,000 was secured in a year to support the center.
- Receiving over $50,000 in game tickets for the community at large from national sports organizations in the last 4 years.
- Raising over $10,000 for 10 students to be exchange students to Russia (including herself) when she was 13.
- Establishing a Client Services Department at the age of 20 in a State of Maryland Office of the Public Defender district to help nonviolent offenders receive help in their communities (both local and non-local). All participation and travel costs were funded or donated to support treatment instead of mandatory incarceration.
