The IBMA CP/DP Boot Camp will take place in person on Saturday, September 19 at Robinson Secondary School in Fairfax, Virginia from 8:30-2:30 (to include morning coffee and lunch for all participants) and virtually on Saturday, October 3.
The goal of the IBMA Boot Camp is to acquaint your new teachers with the nuts and bolts of teaching in an IB school and provide them with resources that they can bring to the classroom the very next week. The Boot Camp is not designed to replace official IB training, but instead acts as an additional support for new teachers.
The In-Person Boot Camp costs $200 per participant. Each session will require a minimum of 3 participants to run. The deadline to register for the in-person boot camp is Tuesday, September 15. Any sessions with fewer than 3 participants at the deadline will be moved to the virtual session on October 3. The virtual boot camp costs $175 per participant and will run on Saturday, October 3 with a tech check-in on Friday, October 2.
Payment Information: You can register participants at any time, but will not be billed until after the event. This will ensure we bill you the correct amount, allowing us to take into account if your participants will be attending in person or virtually.
