1. ALWAYS keep your firearm pointed in a safe direction.
2. ALWAYS keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot.
3. ALWAYS keep your firearm unloaded until you are on the firing line and ready to fire.
4. DO NOT load firearms anywhere but on the firing line at your assigned lane stall.
5. All firearms not on the firing line must be stored unloaded in a case.
6. Firearms will only be uncased or removed from the holster within the shooting booth. Never transfer uncased firearms from lane to lane.
7. Range Officer reserves the right to remove anyone from the range that is demonstrating unsafe or unacceptable behavior.
8. If you observe any unsafe conditions, report them to a Range Safety Officer immediately.
9. Children under age 14 are not permitted to shoot PISTOLS on the range.
10. Individuals under age 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who will sign a waiver and remain by their side at all times. Individuals, at the age of 18, will be permitted to shoot a long gun alone.
11. It is your responsibility to know and understand how to operate your firearm safely.
12. Eye and Ear protection is mandatory for anyone entering the range.
13. Always keep the firearm action open, magazines removed and only load when ready to commence firing.
14. Targets must be at least 5 yards down-range and stationary, long guns must be shot at least 15 yards.
15. All shooters must stand in their respective shooting booth and non-shooters must stand behind the booth area.
16. Do not pass firearms directly from person to person. Place the unloaded firearm on the bench and allow the next person to pick it up.
17. Only one firearm may be loaded at a time
18. No green tip, armor piercing, tracers, or hand loaded ammunition allowed
19. All shooting must be conducted in a safe, controlled and accurate manner; “dual wielding” or “two-gun shooting” is not permitted
20. Upon the command “CEASE FIRE”, stop all shooting immediately, put down your firearm and back away from the firing line. Shooters may not re-approach the firing line or pick up any firearm until a Range Safety Officer gives the “all clear, range hot” signal. Command issued by Range Officers and Range Personnel must be obeyed immediately and without question
21. Never consume alcohol or take drugs before or while shooting
22. You are not allowed to draw from a holster and fire unless authorized by the Range Officer. No prone shooting
23. Range Officers reserve the right to inspect any firearms or ammunition for safety considerations
24. If you are not sure of something, ask a Range Officer IMMEDIATELY
25. Re-loaders may recover their own brass from the range provided it is not forward of the firing line. Brass previously left on the range by other shooters is the property of CrossRoads Shooting Sports, LLC, and is not permitted to be removed
26. Push brass forward of the firing line using the provided squeegee
27. Food, drink, gum or any tobacco product is not permitted inside the range. Always remember to wash your hands in cold soapy water after you leave the range and prior to eating
28. Damage to any part of range due to neglect of the customer, could result in customer paying for the damage
29. Guests that are pregnant are not allowed on the Range at CrossRoads Shooting Sports
VIOLATIONS AND ENFORCEMENT
Warning: Warning shall be of the manner that describes the breach of rules with a polite request for adherence.
Penalty for violating a warning: If members or patrons are not complying, they will be politely asked to exit the range. All safety violations will be documented and investigated. Failure to comply could result in the suspension or termination of individual’s range access privileges.
An individual that refuses to exit the range shall be informed that the local law enforcement officials will be contacted to remove the individual from the range.
