Paediatric Surgical Training in the UK
The road to becoming a substantive Consultant Paediatric Surgeon in the UK is long, complex and challenging both professionally and personally.

This survey has been produced by the TrIPS reps for ALL CURRENT PAEDIATRIC SURGICAL TRAINEES AND THOSE WHO HAVE COMPLETED UK TRAINING IN THE LAST 5 YEARS.

Our aim is to describe the current pathway and demands of Paediatric Surgical training to prospective NTN applicants in a meaningful way.

As trainees, we fully appreciate the sensitivity of some of the questions in this survey. Responses will remain anonymous, and NO DATA WILL BE PUBLISHED WHICH COULD IDENTIFY INDIVIDUALS.

We hope that mapping out the experiences of current and recent UK trainees will help us better advocate for your needs and direct the GMC and SAC when considering future changes to the training pathway.
