MASC 2019 Registration
The University of Manitoba’s Anthropology Students’ Association is excited to announce that submissions are open for our student led conference, titled MASC: The Future of Anthropology, taking place March 8th and 9th, 2019 at the University of Manitoba, Fort Garry campus. Submissions are open to anyone at the undergraduate or graduate level with an interest in Anthropology, as well as professors who wish to develop panels with students.

MASC aims to draw attention to all subfields of anthropology, so the theme of the conference is broad. Our Keynote Speakers will be Dr. Emily Holland, bioarchaeologist and forensic anthropologist at Brandon University, and Dr. Maureen Matthews, curator of cultural anthropology at the Manitoba Museum. The conference will begin Friday night at 6pm on March 8th and be completed by Saturday evening.

UMASA will be charging a $20 registration fee. The fee includes catered breakfast and lunch on both Saturday and Sunday, snacks and drinks on Friday evening, and a conference tote bag.
