Phi Rho Chi Application 2020
Thank you for your interest in being a Phi Rho Chi for 2020 Recruitment Process. We are super excited and can't wait to build a great team to guide potential new members through recruitment.
APPLICATIONS CLOSE : FEBRUARY 28th at 11:59pm.

Please review the instructions and expectations below:

Eligibility:
-Being an Active member of your sorority and in good standing with your chapter
-Must be able and willing to disaffiliate from their chapter before and during Recruitment 2020
-A full-time enrolled undergraduate student during Fall Quarter 2020
-Must be in Davis and available starting Saturday, September 12th, 2020 for mandatory training sessions
-Preferred but not required: have participated in Formal Recruitment as an active member


Time Commitment: (All Trainings and Recruitment Dates are MANDATORY)
- Training Meeting April 25th at 10AM
- Pre-Recruitment training from September 12th- September 25th (the times of training are TBD)
-Attend an overnight retreat during Phi Rho Chi Training (more details to come)
-Being fully present during all Fall Primary Recruitment events which include:
-Conducting orientation session for Potential New Members
-Attending daily Recruitment events with Potential New Members
-Meeting with Potential New Members and Recruitment Team twice daily
-Attend all Recruitment counselor training sessions and other related commitments

Selection Process:
-Each sorority is required to submit at least 8 qualified applicants
-Application closes February 28th, 11:59pm
- Group interviews will be held on March 7th
-Panhellenic Recruitment Counselors will be announced via email shortly after the interview process

Qualities Found in an Excellent Pi Rho Chi:
-Dependable, punctual, responsible and available to PNMs
-Enthusiastic and have a positive attitude toward sorority experiences
-Objective and impartial
-Sensitive and perceptive to others’ feelings
-Represents the ideals and values of a Panhellenic Woman
-Understands the importance of, and assists in carrying out a successful Values Based Recruitment
-Able to show support for all PNMs through person-to-person contact
-Maintain confidentiality regarding conversations with PNMs
-Maintain neutrality in difficult situations or conflicts requiring objective guidance to PNMs
-Promote a positive attitude in the Panhellenic community through conversation and personal behavior
