The ARDEC South Food Security Project is an opportunity to work with students, professors, and staff from across Colorado State University (CSU) to promote food security on campus!
The Agricultural Research, Development, and Education Center (ARDEC) is located just 4 miles north of Fort Collins, and it serves CSU in facilitating many different agricultural related projects and research activities.
Land was donated by ARDEC South for the purpose of growing food to promote food security for CSU students. Last year, just a few grad student volunteers were able to grow, harvest, and donate 3,000 + lbs of fresh produce to RAMS Against Hunger and the Mobile Food Pantry at CSU!
If you are interested in helping this year, fill out the survey below, and we will follow-up with more information! Volunteer hours over the summer are very flexible, and access to fresh produce is a great bonus incentive =). Feel free to reach out to Savannah Hobbs at
with any questions.
