LAMP Inquiry Form
The Learning Actively Mentoring Program (LAMP) has three programs. 1) The Fellows Program is a yearlong training in active learning for college educators. Applications generally open in December and close in early March. Successful applicants kick off their training with a week-long retreat. 2) The LAMP Scholars Learning Assistant (LA) Program prepares future educators through an active learning practicum in a college classroom and a pedagogy course. Applications are open on a rolling basis and undergraduates in all colleges and post-bacc & graduate students in the College of Education are encouraged to apply. 3) The Science Roadshow is a traveling squad of undergraduate and graduate researchers who travel along with LAs and professors to K-12 schools. We engage in active learning with K-12 students and also support K-12 educators.
About which of the 3 LAMP Programs would you like to receive more information?
Please ask us a question or inquire about something besides the LAMP Programs (e.g. Perhaps you would like someone to visit your departmental meeting and talk about active learning? Please ask us and we will visit!)
