During the festival, these eight educators had the opportunity to take the festival as their syllabus, imagining ways to integrate film into their classrooms further. Following the festival they engaged in a series of readings and discussions. Their Fellowship culminates in the creation of a teaching object (a lesson plan, unit, etc) which they have already implemented or plan to implement in their classrooms in the near future. These teaching objects are what they will share with all of us at this Capstone event which concludes their fellowship.
In addition to learning from these dynamic educators, attendees will have the opportunity to network with others who care about the use of film in the classroom. Light snacks and tasteful adult beverages will be provided.
Please RSVP by noon on Friday, February 2 so that we can prepare for your attendance.
