Join us for a guided hike on
Saturday, May 16th at 10am as part of the
Writing About Place collaborative series. This series connects landscape, poetry, and close observation on conserved land. By deepening how we notice, describe, and connect with the landscapes around us, writing can also strengthen our understanding of why conservation and stewardship matter to our communities.
Hosted by the Hopkinton Land Trust, this program includes stops at two Poetry of the Wild poetry box installations along the trail at Canonchet Brook Preserve, featuring poetry by Miles Hardingwood and George Elliot. Participants will also be invited to pause and write along the way.
Canonchet Brook Preserve is located on Main Street in Hopkinton. Participants will be notified of any cancellations due to weather via email. Rain date scheduled for Sunday, May 17th at 10am.
