Caregiver Outdoor Education with Mr. K
Mr. K is offering caregivers a series of outdoor education workshops. During these 30 minute workshops, caregivers will enhance their skills for providing opportunities to connect with nature while playing and exploring. Each interactive workshop will be delivered through Zoom and will be divided between a short presentation followed by a Q & A period with discussion.
Workshops will highlight the many wonderful natural locations within Franklin County. Directions to access the individual sites will be available.
Participants will leave workshops with web-sites, book titles and hand-outs supporting the topics covered. Participants will also be given a list of supplies and where they can be sourced (many in your own backyard and all low/no cost) for doing these activities with the young ones in their lives.
Confirmation emails with workshop Zoom links will be emailed to participants the Friday before the workshop. Register for only the workshop(s) that you are interested in.
These workshops are offered free through a partnership with the FNESU LEAPS Afterschool Program and Exordium (AKA Mr. K).
