The West of Orkney Windfarm is keen to support small organisations and projects across the north of Scotland.

We are delighted to offer donations to local initiatives based in Orkney, Caithness and Sutherland in particular, and would welcome applications for activities including (but not restricted to):

·       Education in science, technology, engineering, maths and the environment

·       Sport

·       The arts

The following projects/organisations will not be eligible for donation:

·       Organisations that promote any kind of discrimination

·       Religious organisations, trade unions and political parties

·       Organisations that target a single person

·       Partnerships that require money to pay for salaries

·       Funding for ‘bricks and mortar’ construction projects

How we will treat your application

·       Your application and any correspondence relating to your application will remain confidential.

·       We may revert to the applicants for further information or clarification.

We will consider all applications on a regular basis and will inform applicants of our decision shortly thereafter.

Please note we do receive a number of applications and unfortunately we are not always able to support every request.

Also please note that if your application is turned down, you are still able to apply in subsequent months.
