Diné Kids Film Club is thrilled to invite you to our first virtual summer camp of creative workshops designed not only to inspire artistic expression but also to support and strengthen media literacy. Led by a diverse group of artists, writers, and creative educators, these sessions will explore the power of storytelling, visual culture, and critical thinking in today’s media-saturated world.
Each session has a limited number of spots to ensure a quality experience. Please register in advance to secure your spot.
Open to everyone ages 13 and up, each workshop will take place online via Zoom. You'll receive the Zoom link the week of the workshop(s) you choose. Your privacy is important to us—any personal information shared in this application will remain strictly confidential. Tribal affiliation is not integral, but those from tribal communities will have priority access to the virtual workshops.
As a thank-you for your participation, we're also excited to offer a raffle giveaway! Two lucky participants, regardless of how many workshops you will attend, will receive a mini-library featuring a text from each of our workshop leaders, along with a few creative extras at the end of the summer.
Please note: Space for the IN-PERSON EVENT at Palabras Bookstore is limited. Attendees must register in advance. Your name will be added to the guest list and checked at the entrance upon arrival. We appreciate your understanding as we work to create a welcoming and organized experience for all.
We’re excited to build a vibrant, thoughtful community, come create with us and sharpen your media lens!
