Community Outreach Canvasser Role Description:
The most effective way to engage and inspire people is to meet them where they're at. That's what we do! Our Community Outreach Canvasser (COC) canvass door to door in the community to engage and inform our neighbors on the top happenings at the state legislature, city council, school board and beyond. COCs also register people to vote, engage in digital organizing and attend community events.

The primary responsibility of this position is to be on the front lines in the community canvassing to enable our neighborhoods to build strength and power through advocacy.

We are seeking individuals for full-time and part-time roles. No experience needed. Must have reliable transportation, be professional and possess a good attitude. Also must be willing and able to canvass (walk door to door) for 5 hours daily. Starting pay $13/per hour.

No experience with canvassing is necessary- senior positions may be open to those with previous canvassing experience. Successful applicants, however, will have the following characteristics:
· Punctual and reliable
· Good communication skills
· Outgoing personality
· Enjoys meeting and talking to people
· Energetic and enthusiastic
· Committed to fighting for social justice
· Interested in/passionate about voting and civic participation
