Black business ownership is a proven path to wealth and job creation, while stimulating the US economy.  However, there are deep-rooted, systemic challenges limiting their growth. The Path to 15|55 is a collaborative initiative, between experts from every sector, designed to grow Black businesses and their communities based on research that shows if 15% of Black-owned businesses are able to hire one more employee, the American economy could grow by $55 billion.

Critical to achieving that goal is the commitment of philanthropic organizations to support Black businesses and use their flexible capital to fill gaps in the business ecosystem.
